As promised, here is the first STBB Monthly Battle!!! I'm not sure if I will have many opportunities to host a battle given so many talented producers on the board here, so I wanted to make this one count with the most badass instrument as focus. Samples are from some of my favorite Vibraphone artists, I tried to stick with lesser known or sampled songs since all of these dudes have been flipped before of course. Hope you have some fun with this one, really looking forward to what you guys can do with a whole month of time!! Happy New Year!!!!
RULES
Flip at least one of the provided samples
Outside instruments, VST's, drums, cuts/fx allowed - Vibraphones should be audible though!!
No full acapellas unless it's you on the mic
3 minute time limit
DOWNLOAD
Upload your beat to Soundcloud, include STBB Monthly 001, and post in this forum by January 26th, 2019 Midnight, Pacific time.
Give feedback and you will receive it back
For easy browsing's sake tracks will be reposted and added to a monthly playlist here: soundcloud.com/stbbcollection
Label entries that are posted after the deadline as 'late entry' and entries that don't comply with the rules as: 'non-entry' in your track title.
Vote in the designated thread by February 1st, 2019 at Midnight, Pacific time
Winner: post new sample, rules, etc by February 3rd, 2019 Midnight, Pacific time and upload the sample here on Google Drive or Mega
