i had an idea for this one but thought, neh..

but then when i typed 'Madiba' for inspiration.. this came up.. so that confirmed it for me ..



it's a challenge for sure

two requirements for a valid entry..
1. Collab*
2. Make it Amapiano

*Collab in any way with anyone
multiple collabs allowed
any type of half products.. just melodies or drumbeats or whatever can be posted on the forum for people to work with

solo / non-amapiano as non-entries allowed of course

Voting: for maximum engagement.. everyone participating has to vote for it to be, a valid entry/ valid entries you've participated in..

and yes.. use no samples or find your own..

Never heard of amapiano so not sure if this is 'in the genre' but if it is, anyone is welcome to use it.

It's an African sounding drum loop, processed and layered up I made this morning. Downloads are enabled if you want to use it.



EDIT: I'll leave it up incase anyone wants to chop from it, or save it for another time but see Joa post below.

I think I'll skip this one out, its a bit too much out of my skills to produce a subgenre I've only just come across - look forward to hearing all the entries though.

since you wondered.. this is sounding more like a type of hip hop break beat .. you could listen to the links posted as reference..

I used i MPC on my phone to make a 16 bar loop with FX and tings...
and the made some drum loops on the usual G4 tower...
116 BPM
