Congrats on that wiiiiiiiiin and thanks for the samples. I used the Misty Horizon sample and twisted it to pieces. Trying new things again with an uptempo beat to give it a driving feel. There's so much more I can do with this beat but I'd rather post it for now then keep it archived away forever. Peace

Wanted to put some work into this today, but had a horrible day at work and came home super late, so it's more of a scetch.
Aaaaanyhows.............for me the late night vibe is a night with your homies, which starts kinda clear and unspectacular, but as the night continues it keeps getting messier, blurry, and confusing. That's more or less the buildup. Also, the Beastie Boys acapella fit in that description pretty well (also for the instrumentalisation, live sounding drums, live bass....)

What's up people?
Some extra cool crazy samples this week,

I ended up using the Dikyl Brobojo Misty Horizon sample.
Chopped it up into some loops, 2 and 4 bars, cleaned up the chops.
Matched the tempo at about 84 bpm.
Then made a 4 bar drum loop,
Messed around until I had some parts I liked the sound of.
added some dirty one note bass line.

Bounced the samples bass and drums to audio,
added some EQ's and filters to the samples one with a Stereo wide panner and the other with a sync stereo sweep.
Master channel has a EQ, Mulitpressor and Limiter on it to try and tie it all down.

I deleted my track because I didn't like the mix down. re-uploaded and added 'late entry'
