How do peps listen back to the playlist? Who uses what? phone, a laptop, headphones, Car, bluetooth speaker, or even in the studio?

As usual for listening to (or making beats), I use Beyerdynamic DT1770's driven by a SPL Phonitor headphone amp sourced from a RME UCX interface, along with a SubPac S2 running in parallel. It's such a high fidelity and multi-sensory listening experience it's sometimes frustrating to listen to music on any other system!

That said, i've also got a 9.0 full range B&W/Genelec surround sound set up in my studio so it's still great to hear everyone's beats on that.
