I hope everyone finds something good to flip here, I tried to go for a variety of sounds and even decades including some newer favorites such as Fabiano Do Nascimento and Pratagy. Also, while technically not from Brazil, I had to include a couple tracks from the 'Brazil' movie soundtrack as an easter egg haha-- A great movie if you haven't seen it before! Finally, I wasn't going to include Wave originally because it has been covered a million times, but I totally forgot about the Walter Wanderley version which is def one of my favorites - His organ sound is quite different, might be fun to play with this one![]()
I really appreciate the kind words man, I was probably having the worst day I've had in some years on Friday and putting together the tracks for this battle helped me end a bad day happy.. Thanks again for letting me have a chance to host!FatVonFree wrote: ↑Mon Apr 01, 2019 1:32 amcuzzo......so ima sit this one out but uhhhhhhhh lol...ima flip every track....i have never flipped any music from brazil. ima make a tape outta this. get my homegirl to paint a canvas as usual and put this out on cassette. will send ya one....this shit is beautiful. got some new guitars this week so i need to sit with this material and marinate on it. lookin fwd to this playlist of beats everybody cooks up this week. holy shit man nice job on this sample selection.
