Here is a little history on this 700 Beat Battle vote day this is the very 4th beat I ever posted to the STBB, This is a MYspace era beat battle 43, and yes I love jazz music.

I've alway used Soundcloud to post the beats for the beat battles.
My mate "4x4" put me onto the Battles. When it was hosted on the ST website/forum
STBB118 was my first
The other guys where a bit more critical/constructive from what I can remember.

I did have a myspace music page but that's now long gone...
As soon is I switched to SoundCloud there was no comparison.

On the real.. It's been vibes during this weeks anniversary beat battle! Really enjoyed making my beat tape & listening to everyones dope individual styles. Lovely hearing people progress and grow. As always was not easy narrowing things down.. but here goes:

1.2nite Felt like a proper beat battle beat, drums knocked and the synths were yoda fiyah. Cohesive Structure

2. SIL'DANTE Honestly not much between you and 2nite. Really enjoyed your flips. Was real classy and to my taste. Real smokey vibe

3. ruedenz X per.du Ye pro production skills. Real nice arrangements and solid delivery. Wanted to vote someone else in as you be hoggin my votes but your pro sounds wouldn't let me

Wow thanks for sharing this Butta.. Beats nice a smooth too. So 657 weeks ago was Friday January 4th 2008.. I woulda been been far too young to make beats - barely been KS2 learning..haha wow madness. I mos def appreciate the elders passing down knowledge

Feel this often but this has to be one of the most contested weeks I've seen in a minute. Was super into and replaying track after track.

So many ones I was really about my votes are going for the sheer work/creativity into em

1.Granny David Such a fantastic STBB tribute track and was groovy as hell. Took it over some serious competition for me.
2. Renzo The effort and concept into this one was top notch. All the mixes were great.
3. SiL' DANTE It was close with Home of Dope Beats but the vibe and wonderful layers in this one prevailed.
