Yo

Cooked up another flip
used the Per grazia ricevuta - Guido & Maurizio De Angelis sample. Pitched it down -3
quick bit of chopping.
Low end for the bass.
Added drums 88 Bpm
That is all.

:salute: :vulcan: :peace:
Peace Mox

I think we might be making it overly complex. While it's nice to get a win, I don't think most of us are driven by the contest as much as by the sample challenge and the various weekly guidelines themselves.

I support whatever makes the most people happy, but it makes sense to me allow 1 entry per SC page/Forum acct, regardless of who collabs with whom (unless the weekly rules specify ie the Microbeats week)
I think that works, 1 eligible entry per STBBForever forum account - someone else said it too. Happy to vote on it though to make sure that it's the consensus and not just a select few who think this.

Full disclosure: I'm not very invested in STBB and will not likely be playing very often after Jan 1st. For what it's worth, I appreciate less rules, generally speaking, because it's more fun that way. All that said, I think STBB is a beat battle (not a producer battle or song battle) and in my opinion, if you wanted to fix some of the perceived issues, just do the following:

1. Only one submission per person per week.
2. No noncompetitive entries (see rule 1).
2. No raps at all. Zero.
3. No A Capellas. Zero.
4. No DJ stuff. Fuck that.
5. Only outside drums and bass (unless the weekly winner decides no outside anything).
6. No collabs.

Personally, that wouldn't be very much fun for yours truly (I'd prefer a song battle forum, truth be told), but I think it would solve the issues that some people seem to be having.

And private :) yes... my previous upload was private, internet remembers everything, so i should remember not to do anything before your morning coffee for the future :))
