Submitting this for now, will probably try again during the week make this a non entry. Nailing that moody , cavernous sound they perfected is a very tough thing to do! :hmm: :hmm:

sample is the chords at the start and throughout, added some guitar and a bit of synth

was listening to some 70's music.. hearing a lotta tracks that were sampled for hip hop later of course..

this one struck me as an early trip hop vibe..

no outside samples used, used both folders

adding these folders into the "stbb" folder in my sample vault ;)

thanks fvf!!!

for whatever reason i did have to convert those "zero g" samples before ableton would import them. no idea why

Yo

Some real nice samples to play around with this week. :blunted:
Big ups FatVonFree. :salute:

Used one of the samples, found a loop chopped it up, pitched it +1.
Made a drum pattern from the selection of drums available.
Everything from the sample pack, except some extra one note bass hits.

:salute: :vulcan: :peace:
Peace Mox

Congrats Glasstapes on the W and thanks @ FatVon, these samples are straight fire! :fire:

Used a bunch of samples, layered and pitched, sub bass comes from a Vital preset, with some EQ and filters on it... So only bass (vst) and white noise from outside...

:peace:

Arguably the best band of the 90's. Still listen to Dummy regularly.
Fun week!

Hey All, I used only the samples and my own vocal chords to make it. With samples that good what else is needed. Thanks Fat Man. Hope all are well. The Rip is a Portishead song that sounds nothing like this one.

Peace, Hugh
