can't tell which movie soundtrack some of you used.. not in the descriptions either..
might be nice if you could mention them here on in the title or so?
I had originally thought we could make it a guessing game and try to name the soundtrack but that might have been kinda hard they way some people slice, dice and spice samples.
Hey All,
Really digging the stuff so far.
This was made using all of the samples I supplied.
It had reminded me of the Succession theme song, mainly the strings part. I really love that theme song.I had thought it was just a chopped classical track but this guy composed it and added the beats. Here is a video of the composer talking about it. I like how he talks about putting in wrong notes for the scale to create tension. I do this frequently but not on purpose.
I did some non-entries not to be including in the playlist.
This one was with The Thing samples.
And this one with 2 soundtracks that I listened to many times in my early childhood.
I was gonna use some soundtracks of my own but hot damn the samples provided were just so good, could not stand not doing anything there. So here, no outside samples but drums and then some bass vst in the third part
Here's my offering this week. Things have been nuts so I make no promises on quality but it seemed like it had some interesting blends happening. But you be the judge and let me know what you think.
My samples are probably mad obvious but I used bits of The Shining, Full Metal Jacket, Close Encounters, and Bullit. Was hoping to use something from the original Taking of Pelham 123 but I couldn't make it work. I think that soundtrack is just too good to touch.

Dude, yeah! The Succession intro is dope. My wife always wants to skip it because it's kinda long but shit I love it. Great show too.
