Happy Holidays Battle
I've been asked to help host the December Monthly Battle, congrats again to Granny David and ruedenz for their win in November! This month there are many holidays being celebrated like Christmas, Kwanzaa, Hanukkah, and more. There are so many overplayed songs during this month on the radio and hearing the same music every year can be boring. I thought it would be a fun idea if for this month we made our own holiday soundtrack through this battle!
I do not have any samples to share as each holiday has its own distinct sounds, it is up to you to find good source material that expresses the season to you personally through the beat you make.
For inspiration, below is a fun one I think shows how creative you can get with the holidays in mind
RULES
Your song should be inspired by your winter holiday! Take it in any direction though
No rules on samples - Feel free to use as many or few as needed!
Outside instruments, VST's, drums, cuts/fx allowed!
Acapellas allowed
Upload your beat to Soundcloud, include STBB Monthly 012, and post in this thread by December 26th, 2019 Midnight, Pacific time.
Give feedback and you will receive it back
For easy browsing's sake tracks will be reposted and added to a monthly playlist here: soundcloud.com/stbbcollection
Label entries that are posted after the deadline as 'late entry' and entries that don't comply with the rules as: 'non-entry' in your track title.
Vote in the designated thread by February 1st, 2019 at Midnight, Pacific time
Winner: post new sample, rules, etc by December 29th,, 2019 Midnight, Pacific time and upload the sample here on Google Drive or Mega
